Paylix is migrating to Shoppex
We're moving all Paylix users to Shoppex — a completely new platform we've built from the ground up. Paylix as you know it will be discontinued, and Shoppex will take its place.
Why we're doing this
Paylix started as a platform built on top of an existing codebase. Over time, we realized we wanted something different: a platform that's truly our own. Not a fork, not a derivative — something independent in every way.
The original codebase dates back to 2018. While it served us well, parts of it are no longer modern or maintainable. We found ourselves constantly working around limitations instead of building the features we actually wanted.
So we made the decision to start fresh. Shoppex is built from scratch — new code, new architecture, new everything. It's faster, cleaner, and gives us the foundation to build the platform we've always envisioned.
What this means for you
Shoppex is a completely new platform — but you won't lose anything. We're migrating all existing Paylix users, shops, products, and payment settings directly to Shoppex. Everything transfers over.
All the features you rely on will still be there. In fact, they'll work better than before. And we'll be able to ship new features much faster going forward.
Timeline
Shoppex is currently in private beta. If you want early access, join our Discord and let us know.
Full release and migration of all Paylix users is planned for March 1, 2026.
FAQ
Will I lose my shop or products?
No. Your shop, products, customers, and all settings will be migrated 1:1 to Shoppex. Nothing gets lost.
What about my payment gateway connections?
All your connected payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, crypto, etc.) will transfer over. You won't need to reconnect anything.
Do I need to do anything?
No. We handle the entire migration for you. You'll receive an email when your account is ready on Shoppex.
Is this just a rebrand?
No — it's much more than that. Shoppex is a completely new platform built from scratch. New codebase, new design, new infrastructure. Paylix will no longer exist as a separate platform.
Will features be removed?
No. All existing features will be available on Shoppex, and many will work better than before. We're also adding new features that weren't possible with the old architecture.
What about pricing?
Shoppex is an independent platform with its own pricing. Fees will be lower and competitive with other platforms in the space.
